Can we at least wait to we are eliminated from the NCAA Tourney before posting this nonsense. UCONN can still win the AAC tourney. That is what I'm focused on right now.It will suck if we can't make the NCAA, but if we can't there is the NIT, the 96-97 team made the NIT FF and then we saw how it all turned out the next 2 years.

An NIT invite wouldn't be bad for this group of kids and the coaching staff . They need the experience and work . It would be bad for Boat and the "Uconn " program. From a sports trivia stand point , ten + years from now a 2011 , 2014
NCAA banner and then a 2015 NIT wouldn't be horrible.
We will make the tournament (NCAA) and the #3 seed lines and above we could knock off with the momentum of a conference championship...
And this glimmer of hope is based on what happened between us , Charlie Sheen, Senhor , Kemba and Bazz. I love the team also buddy but - Did you watch the game last night. Did you see the steals/ the six point play. I hope I'm wrong but.
Many NIT teams are very good with quality wins and deserving of an NCAA berth, are we? We had 13 turnovers in the first half yesterday.
"Deserving" is all relative. Who cares... is Illinois State deserving if they win the MVC Tournament ect ect...? IF Northern Iowa makes the tournament I hope they land in the 8/9 game in Kentucky's region. Jacobson's "system" will probably spring the big upset. They may not get in depending on how they finish the season but that is a game I want to see. Northern Iowa would be a tough match up for any top seed this year. UNI is still a very vulnerable team though on several fronts.

If you can't make the NCAA tourney out of 68 teams its no one else's fault but your own.
