Did anyone see it yet? Figuring we will be a 3-4 point favorite

Not out yet, NCAAB lines usually start to get posted by the market originators around noon-1pm the day before. We will 100% be more than a 3-4 point favorite though. Kenpom has -9 and I'd expect it to be around -7.
 
DK still doesn't have tomorrow's lines up. A bit surprising given that tipoff is in less than 24 hours.

If the line is around 8.5, I'm probably betting Creighton against the spread. If it's less than that, I'm probably betting Creighton moneyline (+220 or so is my guess).

There probably trying to figure out whos officiating the game since it seems to have been impacting things last 2 games...LOL

How is UConn favored by 8 while PC is only favored by 7?
 
Moneyline is -360/+295, which implies that we have a 77% chance to win. That feels way too high.

Spread already down to 7.5.
 
I feel like Vegas is prob cashing out on our fan base being overhyped the few games.

Some ppl might say refs can have friends from dryer climates than NE too. I’m not saying that but some might say that…

Damn, I snoozed and loozed. 6.5 now. Would've loved to hit +8 hard and then get UConn about -2 in game,

I got both Creighton +8 (now 6.5) and moneyline +295 (now +250) and plan to hedge at least one of them in game -- Draftkings even has a 25% live CBB boost today.

I think the odds of us handling Creighton easily (aka 8 or more pt win) are quite low. I'm still taking them +6.5, but a smaller bet than I would've at 8. I think/hope we win by a few at home. ML would be a lot more enticing if it was neutral, but with 3:1 payout its worth a small bet. I'm hoping the line moves back to 7+, then I'll hit it again. I think the game stays tight and the line moves lower in-game. Therefore, +8 would be a great position to start at.

IMHO with ~70 CBB games today, there are much better value spots to be found that don’t involve betting against your team (and live-betting both sides just to to eke out a small profit)

Betting against your alma mater on the ML is just icky.

Edit: although if we win today, I may require you to bet against us the rest of the season ;)
 
My prediction: UConn covers. Everyone present keeps saying, "what?" for a day or two due to the crowd noise.

I don't place sports bets, but here's the deal: No ads all day Sunday for all registered users if UConn loses.

Kyle Boone of CBSSports is bailing on the Huskies already after the 2 losses. He was all in on the Huskies (see #8) before the season started and then rode the wave the first 14 games. If he doesn't think UConn can beat Creighton at Gampel then that tells me he is down on the Huskies right now after 2 losses. All 5 guys took Creighton and 8 points but 4 of them picked UConn to win.

We were really, really ridiculously good the first 12 games of the season. So even with 4 medium games after that, the computers love us.

I would do it to eke out a large profit.

The thing about betting your own team (for or against) is that it's the rare scenario where you may know more than Vegas does and might have an edge. I don't have that with the 70 other games.

Edit: I don't like betting against my own team on the moneyline (for clarity, not my alma mater, I spent a bunch of time on UConn campus, but not as a student, I just grew up in Connecticut), but the initial odds implied we were over 75% to win, which I felt was way too high.
