This has been in the works for awhile.
If we get 3 of Blake Harris, Cam Johnson, Mamoudou Diarra, Kanter, Mamukelashvili that would completely negate the transfers and MAL.
Their saying he graduated as a junior
Honest question....Is he a boneyard pipe dream or is there a connection that makes this a real possibility?
I don't know if KO can be that convincing, especially in light of all the defections.
Oz is right about that. This is one they can't afford to miss out on. We won't have to compete with ACC schools, and we have a gaping hole for him to suck up 30 min of PT. Oz made it seem like the staff is prioritizing him, hopefully that's the truth.

Does the loss of Steve Enoch and Juwan Durham leave a gaping hole?No it wouldn't. I don't care that Durham only averaged 2 points and 2 rebound per game. Losing him completely diminishes the ceiling of next years team in a way that a low-end four star recruit and <20 MPG grad transfer can't undo.
Johnson would be a huge get but he isn't filling the gaping hole we have in the middle and I suspect he will see that and head elsewhere.
The love affair with Juwan Durham on this board is absolutely absurd. Did he show flashes that he could be a good player? Yes. That doesn't make him irreplaceable. He was essentially a non-factor all season long. If the injuries are the excuse, I don't buy that he'll ever be a great player. He's not the first guy to tear an ACL and he had plenty of recovery time to show more than he did.No it wouldn't. I don't care that Durham only averaged 2 points and 2 rebound per game. This is soooo far off. Lol. Juwan was not that good last yr and wasnt going to be that much of a game changer next yr. He was not this "inside pressence" you speak of. Because he was a 6'10 bean pole who wasnt good off or def. Sophmore Juwan Durham is easily replaceableNo it wouldn't. I don't care that Durham only averaged 2 points and 2 rebound per game. Id actually argue that both diarras are exact replacements. No it wouldn't. I don't care that Durham only averaged 2 points and 2 rebound per game. Losing him completely diminishes the ceiling of next years team in a way that a low-end four star recruit and <20 MPG grad transfer can't undo.

He made about two good plays this season. The love affair with Juwan Durham on this board is absolutely absurd. Did he show flashes that he could be a good player? Yes. I just may see one problem, Kentucky! He made about two good plays this season.
A high ceiling, yes. For next year!?! I dont buy itThe point isn't that Juwan was good, but that he had a very high ceiling, which raised the ceiling of the team.

It was two torn ACLs back to backThe love affair with Juwan Durham on this board is absolutely absurd. Did he show flashes that he could be a good player? Yes. That doesn't make him irreplaceable. Even more reason to believe that he's replaceableIt was two torn ACLs back to back

They were the gaping hole.
I like their potential but they are replaceable.
If we got Sandro, I'd have to disagree. I know all I saw was high light tapes but of all the players in that above list he's my #1. Put him with any other two and I'm going all scrappy on you guys.No it wouldn't. I don't care that Durham only averaged 2 points and 2 rebound per game. Are you suggesting that we will or won't get 3 of those players? If?
Getting any combination of those three does not offset the loss of players whatsoever. We'd be gaining some ground back, but they'll have to show me on the court before I get as excited as I was for the original guys. If?
His release or his attending UConn? This has been in the works for awhile.
Think Cal will go after cam and he may end up at KU
