Everything ok down there?

Doing fine. Thanks. Some nasty storms along the Florida panhandle; probably some tornadoes and definitely some strong straight line wind.

Most of the heavy damage was north of the I-10 corridor.

The town of Jay in Santa Rosa county and city of Crestview in Okaloosa county seemed to take the worst of it.

I think the closest damage to me was about 15 miles northeast. Rainfall overnight and then again mid-morning was very heavy. My lawn was thankful for the water.

Fortunately the heaviest storms hit the most rural areas and the photo gallery in the attached link will do nothing to dispel stereotypes of trailers getting damaged in a storm.

My niece is a student and lives with a roommate in a townhouse in Tally. Tornado went right in front of their house but missed the building. They had lines down on their cars outside and tons of tree damage. Going to be a lot of people without power for a while. Tornado alley continues to move eastward.

Chin-Glad to hear you're ok. Have relatives in Pensacola- Any concerns there?

Northern half of Pensacola and the county, north of I-10, had the most damage- downed trees and some without power.

Southern part of the county was fine.

East of Pensacola, Santa Rosa County and Okaloosa County, had more damaged.
