UK is a different animal. They have an image that Cal created as an NBA developmental program. In doing so, they sell way more merchandise than ever and they are swimming in cash from advertising etc.

Cal has WWW recruitin$ for him and he has UK boosters fawning over him and the program. Its a pretty messed up situation down there. The whole model is a disgrace to amateur sports.

KO and UConn can't, nor would they, play the game the way Cal and UK do. Its an embarrassment.

Even if UK got zero money from the SEC, they would pay Cal this much. Every working person in the state of Kentucky (minus Ville metro area) would give half their entire salary to fund UK's basketball program. That's literally all they have.

He too was taken care of with the NBA overtures. Like Ollie uk doesn't want him to leave. It seems lately Donovan is playing the NBA card as well. As for Izzo he for whatever reason nixed it immediately. Maybe when his contract is being renewed he too will take advantage of it.

Eh, it's sucks to watch people cheat every step of the way up and get rewarded for it.

It's also darkly amusing to see UK fans utter hypocrisy when it comes to Cal (they were some of his biggest detractors when he was at Memphis).
