Honestly you can't stay with the script after that start. Whitmer throwing into the wind was painful.

This is completely and totally ridiculous.
 
enough with the flags!!!! Regarding the two QB system, not a fan thus far. Each working complete series' not on and off during drive (haven't been any drives yet really). But I believe Diaco is still undecided to be honest. He's using the "two QB system" as a way to see what each QB has in game 1 and go with it from there. Just my opinion.
 
Casey was fine and should keep getting reps. This is a HUGE series.
 
That pass wasn't broken up, Abrams straight dropped it. Can't have that if they are going to get back in it.
 
You know it's probably good most people at the Rent don't follow football much at all or else they'd know that this was happening in spite of all the suspensions, and would thus be out at the half.

Need some points....

I hope this is the best OL we play all season b/c our front 7 is getting devoured.
 
My god that looked like nfl versus high school on that TD pass. Pathetic.
 
At least it's always a quick reminder with UConn football that they're not for real.

Diaco is looking very shaky, we are completely unprepared to play in every aspect of the game. I know he said Whitmer would play this year but I hate putting him in, we've seen what he can do and he sucks. He might be a good teammate and might look like a good QB in practice but we know what he looks like under the bright lights. Less then a half of football has been played and I already feel awful about this season.

Anybody see an ounce of improvement over last year? I guess last year it was Towson dominating us in the opener, so there's that.

I actually disagree. Hill has had to run multiple times, and we've stuffed a fair amount of runs. Contain? That's another problem.
 
Seeing how the Tampa Bay Bucs played yesterday, the Bucs were looking like a middle school... UConn looks bad

I mean this is a project in every sense of the word, going up against a dark horse for the playoff... but I mean I remember feeling exactly this demoralized last season. What will be interesting now is if/how the team responds and bounces back next week

The O-line is getting a push on a huge BYU front. And if not for a bad fumble and a turnover in the red zone we're looking at 14-3 at the very least.
