Because they want the game to be UConn vs SC for the Elite Eight. They've already had two #2's lose, can't have another one.

Disagree. Fouls have gone sharply vs Buff, both what was called and not called. Every touch vs Buff is a foul. Not so the other way.

The problem is SCar didn't run Dillard for 4 quarters to take her legs away. Especially in the half court: Running her through screens and/or by using a flex offense. Now she's making them pay.

It's always hard to see them in tears. I remember Geno hugging Bria Hartley that night. The team bonds are so strong.

I knew Buffalo had a tough road. However I will say this. If this performance and this game puts more butts in the seats then this tournament did exactly what it was supposed to do. I will go see them play at home. They held their own for an 11 seed. The committee got it absolutely right!
