At some point Dawn will have to identify Dillard on the perimeter and make someone else beat them. Boy would I like UConn to play this undersized team that wants to run the floor.
 
Not that I'm an SC fan, but why aren't they aggressively guarding Dillard? Or do they think they are?
 
Buffalo will need to get players other than Dillard involved if they want to win this game. But other than that, a decent 1Q for them.
 
9 TO by SC in first quarter (most self inflicted). On the other hand, Buffalo looks very comfortable on their end getting open shots but Dillard better get some help.
 
If your on SC does it get into your head, "uh, we are struggling with Buffalo what is **UConn going to do to us?"

** Assuming UConn wins the 2nd game in Albany

Wilson will probably take 100 free throws this game. Buffalo will try and hang tough but it is hard for me to imagine they win. I do like their game though. They play really smart basketball.

UConn already did it, and is primed to do it again.
 
The Buff's are starting rack up the fouls.
 
Every Buff player should be forced off of the perimeter and made to drive into length.
 
Do these refs get to call our game too or do they bring in another crew?

South Carolina is just so big and that will be the deciding factor. They can pound the ball in and get a good shot every possession.

Why is Buffalo ignoring their posts, who are often open as SC's defense is focused out at the 3-pt line. That "strategy" puts absolutely no pressure on Wilson to play defense or foul?

A transfer from UMass. Originally rated a 3-star 90 prospect with a position rank of 25.
She's shot just under 40% (34.5% 3P) for the season, which isn't outstanding, but she seems to be stepping up in the big moments.
 
We get it Adam. We get it. Aja Wilson is the greatest most unique women's basketball player to ever step on the court!!!!!
 
As an unofficial publicist for women's bball I have to root for SCar because they have the NPOY and will attract the casual fan to the games on TV. But some of this team's bonehead plays ... lord, lord.

SC effort seems to be up, and it's starting to pay off.
 
Buffalo's not in position for offensive rebounds. They have 10 total to SC's 23.

Guess it means they're not getting the defensive ones, either.
 
Anyone who thinks Dillard isn't a baller should be watching this game. Her game kinda reminds me of Ogunbowale's.
 
Buffalo unable to make a shot, nor can they get any rebounds. Half Time couldn't get here soon enough for Buffalo.
