We need a miracle. I'm really missing Nickie Williams. I'm missing that player that could turn the game around with one kick return...who's going to step up? Please???
 
Dedication to your players is one thing. Whitmer has gotten way beyond the shot he deserves. Give someone else a chance to embarrass themself. You never know they might actually produce--not likely, but you have to give it a try. With Whitmer we are looking at a 0-12 season.
 
How come their kicker kicks it deep in the endzone and ours could barely reach it?

I also don't believe in mid-season firings unless you know the interim will be the next head coach. But that option has to be on the table now. I agreed with Warde for bring the Dysfunctional Duo back this year for many reasons, but it might be time to cut bait.

Watching this actually hurts. Glad my better half talked me out of going to this game. Always find a woman smarter than you are. Makes life easier
 
Did a miss a first down this half from UConn?
 
Hey maybe we can put Emily in. She has good legs and I'm sure her "moves" will distract the defense. God, this is so damn depressing. At least when RE was coaching we always felt like we had a chance and overall the program seemed to be progressing. In 3 short years we are back to square one.

It is apparent that HCPP has forgotten more about winning football than he ever knew in the first place. He is a negative energy coach. The team is in a death spiral with his job and his beloved GDL's job on the line and he doesn't have the smarts to just try something different.
 
Awesome adjustments made at halftime!! Without them I'm not sure we could have gained the 5 yards of total offense we have in this quarter.
 
This is all on the coach don't get me wrong, but there is a part of me that is just furious with the players as they truly are playing with no passion. And as a player how do you let that happen. You have to take this personally as some point and play with pride. This is simply a joke at this point how bad they are performing.

They have been fighting on their own all season. 3 out of 4 TDs today off of turnovers. How much fight could they have at this point?
 
No fire even with the INT. I know they're putting it back into the O's hands, but that should have gotten a reaction.

BTW...where's Geremy Davis?
 
And there goes my 80's hairband belief...only the defense can gain yards on this team...ughh...

I agree. But maybe the players know the scheme/play calls aren't working. How fired up can you get to go do something that hasn't worked in the past and you know won't work now?
