It's depressing but not terribly surprising that there are regular BY posters on here that appear to be seeing Mullins highlights for the first time. "Oh, he's athletic? Didn't know that."
Men and women both.Cool, I hope he kills it. Going to be a good year for UConn.
It's like you don't even know us.I think he’ll be perfectly fine on that end. Won’t be perfect and he’ll have room to grow, but we are inventing problems that haven’t shown themselves as of yet.

What does 30 minutes get me?
Relax, he was making a joke. That's up to you, but in case you seriously didn't understand my references, here's what I was referring to:
The guy said"here's 90 seconds of highlights to get you through a Saturday night" and "tell me you can look at this and not get excited about next season", to which I responded "20 minutes would have gotten me even more excited". "And he even assists on his own shot".
You see, I was saying 20 minutes of such highlights might even be more exciting than the 90 seconds. People here, including me, like to speculate on how the team will be next season don't you know?
Maybe you also didn't notice the way the video was spliced. In one sequence he drives in from screen right and passes and guess who he passed to? Himself. And he makes the layup. Imagine doing that at MSG in the Big East final!
His three's on the break will remind the older fans of Wes Bialosuknia, by the way. He was just as fluid on his shot and it seemed as automatic.
Only difference being back in the day all of Bialosuknia’s “three’s” were only two’s.That's up to you, but in case you seriously didn't understand my references, here's what I was referring to:

Was there as well and thought he played well - and hey, could the Barclay's center opened another food venue? That was pitiful.Small sample size but there were moments of the McDs game that have me not all that worried about his strength and defense. Dybantsa and Peterson both tried to go right at him. He picked Dybantsa clean in the open floor, and then stood him up on the block the second time. Dybantsa lowered his shoulder and Mullins didn’t budge (he scored on a spin move into a one handed jump hook - but a tough shot and he had to go to finesse over bully ball). Then Peterson couldn’t beat him and Mullins contested his step back, which was a brick.

I'm going to suggest that "BM" is probably not the ideal shortened version of Braylon Mullins. Those initials already have a meaning. Just saying.I know BM is probably a touch taller but if Reed Sheppard can be as successful as he was in college I think our boy is gonna surprise us with his output. For the record, not expecting him to shoot 50% from three lol
Yeah, I know it's highlights and it's against high schoolers, but tell me you can look at this and not be excited about next season.
Good thing it wasn't 4 hours or I'd have to see a doctor.20 minutes would have gotten me even more excited.
He's so good he assists on his own shots!
Ray Allen 2.0What I like seeing is that he's aggressive when he goes to the rim and seems to be able to finish with contact.
Braylon's last game of HS will be livestreamed here soon:
Girls game went into double OT so it's starting later than 7:30est
Weight is nor as important as strength. Lots of thin players are plenty strong. Putting on weight can slow a player down, they ca lose explosion. Let the weight come on naturally. But work every day on getting stronger. He has a Ray Allen frame. So he can add some weight but not a ton.
Yeah he seems IMHO to have a physique and strength closer to Liam than Ray but definitely will be hitting the weight room upon UConn entry.Weight is nor as important as strength.
