Will this be Hurley’s best offensive team?
The St. Benedict’s Prep 2004 team with JR Smith? Most offensively skilled perhaps. But the 2004 team was a machine.
I don’t think we’re gonna beat having two pgs of Newton/Castle caliber and the most efficient combo guard in the country on the same team. But this should be another top 5-10 offense for sure. Will this be Hurley’s best offensive team?
Yeah, I know it's highlights andit's against high schoolers, but tell me you can look at this and not be excited about next season.
He was 18 years old in those clips (just turned 19 in April). He'll add some muscle and will be perfect for a 2 or 3 position player.Kid needs to bulk up.
Karaban will benefit too.Everyone keeps on saying Stewart is starting if he is it probably means Ball is coming off the bench. Of course that is not happening. Mullins looks like a prototypical wing to me. Way more athletic than the perception based on how some of the comments on this board have tended to lean. We know our staff will get him in the best basketball shape of his life and he just needs a little more muscle. Even as currently is with some of the most recent clips he already has some ability to play through contact.
I have been high on this kid since the video @superjohn shared. Been finding stuff on line and everything I see is pure scorer of the basketball. He will be able to create his own shots. Ball is going to benefit playing with Mullins and Demary. There are nights our backcourt is going to light it up. Super excited to see how the staff uses this new talent in their offense.
But for sure this kid is going to have a terrific freshman year!
20 minutes would have gotten me even more excited.
He's so good he assists on his own shots!
What does 30 minutes get me?
I was thinking the same thing, but it is apparently perfectly repeatable and it seems to go in a lot. He does show some ability to play above the rim and to score through contact. Of course, that will get harder against the grown men of the Big East, but he also seems to have the frame to add some weight and strength. I'm not sure I see a one and done, but I'm not ready to bet against it either. I can't wait for him to get on campus and to see what the coaches can mold him into by fall.He seems to start his shot pretty low, but damn he get it up and off quick.
