KML wasn't really looking for her shot in the first half at all. Not sure of that was conscious on her part or what. And then she just couldn't get anything to fall in the second. This was Tiff's game in any event.

KML's passing was terrific, however. When it all comes together for her (scoring, rebounding, passing), she is going to be really special. All the tools are there, and I believe consistency will come. And the Stanford game showed a great sense of the moment.

I think Maya had about 4 games under 10 points in 154 career games. Kaleena has 2 so far.

The game plan was obvious. Get the ball inside and out. No quick shots and pass it. Perhaps thats why KML didnt shoot in the first half and was off.

I agree. Lets forget that she is a freshman.

Lets also ignore all of the "intangible things" that she did.

Wow! Five games into a four year career and she is already a disappointment!

Geno seemed to understand it, if not, be happy with it.
What was interesting to note was that he mentioned to her the importance of being able to get opportunities setting up others with assists on night when she can't hit her shot. She went out and fulfilled both comments. Dangerous kid.

Reminds me about the factual story about Wilt winning the scoring title one year. He was criticized by a sportswriter for being selfish and scoring but too crude a player to be able to pass and set up others. The next season wilt went out and set a record for assists. A record that may still stand.
