And not just alter, but convince them to pass - I think some opponents will look up at Stewart, remember the scouting report mentioning that her arms are even longer than you think, and decide now's the time to go for an assist. Whereas, confronted with Stokes, you think you can get it over her, but you are just plain wrong.
I think most people would like to see her shoot. And she has had the opportunity. At one point last night she grabbed a rebound right under the basket with no one on here and dribbled out to pass it to someone. It would have been easier to shoot and probably a safer option but she didn't even think about it. There was a collective groan throughout the XL center. (as much as can be with so few peopleAnd let's not forget Buck - her weakness have never been defense. I would liked to have seen her attempt at least one FG in the two exhibition games.
