Bouknight's New Coach

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh... Such a bad look for the franchise, how terrible for the young players on that team.. This could not have shaken out worse for Bouk and others..

So the team in the heart of New York City is valuable?

Thank you for that insight.
Hold on, you did say it was "designed to fail." Now you seem to be implying that because of its location, its success is a given.

You are now firmly on both sides of the argument.

Whoever you’re responding to I have blocked but I can only imagine how awesome their comment was

You changed the scope from on-court to off-court.

Yes, exactly, that's what "depends on your perspective means."

But I am also sure that you don't need to defend the boss. He can usually handle himself.

Is it MJ driving the bus on all this bad decision making? If so, fascinating how horrible he is as a basketball mind when not on the court

Anyone see this?

So bad.
James may need a fresh start, a second chance. Although, from the team’s persoective they are involved in trade talks for another reason. Not sure where James would end up? Atlanta or Brooklyn? Brooklyn is his hometown but NYC was the site of his first half mega cramping during the Big East Tournament. I would be concerned about that and the distractions that caused it. So not knowing a whole lot about Atlanta’s situation, it is probably a better destination for James.

If the Hawks have Bouknight and Martin, I may have to make my way over to the ATL for a game.

Lets get him outta Charlotte. Fun team but too deep at 2/3 and keep having coaches that favor vets. Hawks need scorers hope he's headed there. Have no idea what Nets are doing at this point.

He doesn't need to get out of Charlotte. He needs to beat out Cody Martin.

It's fine to play behind him as a rookie (Cody shot well, is decent for his role player role off the bench). If he can't beat out Cody Martin in his 2nd season, he's not going to make it anywhere.

James Bouknight’s summer just got a little longer. The Charlotte Hornets guard had surgery Monday night to repair a tendon in his right pinky finger, the team announced. No exact timetable for his recovery was given, but the injury will keep him out of the Las Vegas Summer League when it tips off next week.
Chief wishes James a speedy recovery. I am hoping he’s able to get various impediments and distractions out of the way soon, so he can focus on improving as a professional player. This is a pivotable year for James to turn things around.

Bouknight has a role model in Dejounte Murray. From what I just read, Murray averaged "a meager 3.4 points per game as a rookie". Of course he got better from there. They look to be the same height.

One player drugs, the other domestic violence - James keeps moving up in the off season. The opportunity, it’s is there now.

What's up?
Miles Bridges allegedly beat up his wife pretty bad and police have pics and I think brought him in. Wife put a social media post that looks bad, real bad. Obv we don’t know everything but looks real guilty.

I’m pretty sure the whole idea of Trip going to Charlotte is to keep James in line.

I would think. I see he is rumored to be traded to Atlanta or the Knicks. New York might be disastrous for him
