Dang that's rough...didn't Baylor have the same thing happen to their 7 footer a few years back? Got diagnosed with a heart condition around the combine that kept him from playing again then they did a symbolic pick for him in the draft or something
 
Moses Moody’s measurements are wild (even lankier than Jeremy Lamb was). That may give him an edge over Bouk (whose measurements were very solid & right in line with what most scouts were anticipating) GM’s.

Keon Johnson’s measurements weren’t all that great when compared to Bouk & Moody. Very interested to see how they all test in the vertical/speed events.

End of the day tho, measurements don’t mean much if you can ball out. Steph Curry is a prime example of that.

i was just reading somewhere that he was gonna have a medical red flag at the combine.

That's kind of what you do during the draft process: try to figure out to whom he compares that's currently in the league. It's the same as projecting how good he'll be, as you did in this post. It's just another way of doing so, which is easier to see and interesting to talk about.

He doesn’t have much to gain by doing it, but I think most guys eventually do it at some point

Honestly doubt GS holds on to their picks seeing how their stars talked about how difficult it is playing with rookies. Looking out for OKC at 6 for Bouk right now. Could look great in that development program next to Shai.
 
That lottery did bouk no favors

Detroit and Toronto were high on the list for bouk fits imo

Yeah not good for Bouk. Looking like a Indiana at 13. Could feasibly see him slide past the lottery to the knicks or something like that as well. Mocks def not as high on him as they were late feb.

Oh yeah I don’t think they’d be an instant contender but if they got Bouk they’d have this core to work with.

I could see them taking Barnes or kuminga at 6 and then using 16 and 18 to move up if they really like a guy
