No doubt #25 wore him down and was allowed too be very physical with him. Good news is Martin getting 22 last game and Polley making shots in this one will help a little as they show other options who can impact.

If Bouk was going to be a one-man show, they weren't going far anyway. That more than one guy has shown the ability to take over a half is only a positive.

I thought Bouknight was fine. Hopefully his arm is alright. He’s going to have some off games and he’s definitely going to be doubled on ball screens which is ok because he’s a pretty good passer. Hurley needs to continue to play Bouknight and Polley together for spacing.

Marquette doubled up and pressured Bouknight as will most teams, but take away a hyperextended elbow and he too might have scored a few points or more against the Warriors’/ Golden Eagles’ tired 2nd half legs. Hope his elbow’s OK.

Bouk was adjusting to this in-game. In the beginning he was like 'my skills can't be stopped' and was forcing things. Then he seemed to realize that 'yes they can'.

He then started becoming a decoy, going after rebounds, getting his teammates involved and just allow the game to come to him. He also seemed genuinely happy with Polley's success, partly because Polley bailed him out.

When we get other consistent and reliable scorers, Bouk will continue to explode offensively, but until then its good to see Bouk do what he can to lead us to victory.

Just saying, seeing him on the bench actively cheering his squad, and then returning to the game under control, and recognizing that he didn't need to take over was impressive. That's unusual for a high NBA draft prospect.

It was a nice growth statement for our talented sophomore.
