Torn elbow ligaments I’m guessing?

Does he come back now? This has to hurt his stock I’d imagine if he’s out through the season...

Based on very little research that’s about a 4-6 month recovery period to return to sports activities. Not great.

I need more than "indefinite" to know how to spin this in my head to keep from killing myself. Is it "he'll miss the rest of the season but now he'll come back next year and go nuts" or "he'll be back by March"

Depends on the type of surgery. Was it arthroscopic or did they cut him open? If they cut him open it could be months before he is healthy.

Saw the same timeframe, until I read further into that article - the surgery that quoted 4-6 months was not for a hyperextended elbow.

The recovery timeframe for that surgery is more vague, "weeks to months" and seemed highly variable based on what was actually done.

I don’t know what to say. This is just so much different than the messaging we heard from DH just a few days ago. Either the operation was extremely minor and it’s still only a couple of weeks or somebody messed up

Just when they were starting to turn this thing around. Get well soon and I hope he's back as good as new ASAP. Arghhhhhhh!!

Everyone needs to step up a little.

I’m leaning toward this being James and his family weighing options and Dan not putting pressure on him to sway one way or another

Ugh, gutted for the guy. Such an awful break at this point. Hopefully recovery goes smoothly and there’s no lasting impact on his career. Time for the guards to step up.
