Lets say you want to buy a new car. You look at consumer report and find a car that seems like a good fit. However, if you are smart you will probably test drive at least 3 cars just to confirm that you chose the right one. Also, given that he had a bad experience at Texas and transferred i'm sure he has learned a lesson or two about picking the right school and program.
