Boogie Fland decommits from Kentucky (Updated > Florida)

I wasn't particularly effusive with my praise this summer. I have yet to see him play as part of a team; me-first every possession of the game. Typical UK guy in that regard.

He has all the talent in the world and may end up in the league if he gets bigger, but from what I've seen I'm not sure he's the right fit for our culture.

We were pretty involved for a bit with him, but Im not sure about fit here. For a bunch of reasons. He is a definitely a player though. Hurley will get it right, no matter what.

I'd bet a thousand dollars at even odds he's going to Arkansas.

Squid did the same thing when he left Memphis for Kentucky, right? He already said he has no team and has to build the roster from scratch. Well there you go.

If he follows Cal, I guess that’s the start of the “commit here and I’ll prioritize getting you to the NBA over building a winning team” era over at Arkansas

Not that I know best. But seems to me he had every opportunity to see if he fit our style of play and decided it wasn’t for him. Agree with 429 on how he wanted to play.l and played.

I wasn’t a Boogie fan but then watching the McD AS game, he was one of the few kids out there that looked true to a position and played with intention. Versus the playground crap that will need a ton of disciplining coming to college and likely provide little value in year one.
