you werent kidding
Triad , I guess I really wasn't kidding...... Lol.... Boneyarders will never feel sorry for the rest of WCBB. WE HAVE DECLARED that we will enjoy this 'train' ride for as long as it last. Because none last forever.

Even Dukies , such as yourself , can hitch a ride from time to time. As long as you behave yourselves. :)

Triad, you continue to get great recruiting classes, and because you're Duke (great school, beautiful part of the Country) that will probably always be the case. No matter who we get year after year I continue to assert that there is great talent elsewhere and eleven times in the past twenty one seasons someone other than Uconn has won the NC. So there is hope for everyone else to win it all; but not next year. Geno will get this group up and over the hill for a fourth straight time.

Chris Dailey is watching Lauren Cox and situated so she can also watch Danielle Patterson.

Kenny Kalina tweeted Megan Walker is the #1 Recruit for 2017 and she makes a case she would also be #1 Recruit for 2016 if she was eligible. Must be an extremely talented player.

Question. I've seen twitter pictures in which Megan Walker wears No. 30 for the Boo Williams elite team. When I watch the game against Miami on "Cube" streaming link No. 30 is called Robinson by the announcer. She looks very good. There is no mention of Walker in the entire game. Can anyone explain this?

It's even more confusing than that. Boo Williams was scheduled to play two games yesterday, neither of which were against the Miami Suns. And the scores indicate they did play those two games, but they also played the Suns. To makes matters worse, BW has a really good PG named Taya Robinson but Walker has ALWAYS worn #30 and she wore it yesterday in one of the early games.

In short, I'm still not sure if that was Walker or not. The feed is not particularly clear and the announcer makes no mention of her. It's so confusing I decided not to even go into it until you made this post.

Saw this on Twitter. Is Narrows Virginia near Chesterfield? Trying to confirm whether or not he's talking about Walker.

Hmmm, apparently Narrows and Chesterfield are nearly 4 hours apart.

Chesterfield is outside of Richmond I think

Not sure where Narrows is!

Richmond and Narrows are nowhere near each other. Maybe this guy messed up the town and is actually talking about Walker.

Geno was down at the Deep South tournament in Raleigh today with Shea so it's possible he was watching a team from the Roanoke area. One of the Roanoke area team made it to one of the championship games.

I'm hoping Geno and/or Shea were able to watch Tyasha Harris from Kelly's former HS.

Cox' stats from TU's 47-34 win today.

14 points (5-9 fg, 4-6 ft), 7 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3 assists

He was almost certainly watching Maggie Guynn, a 5-9 freshman (2018) point guard at Narrows HS, playing AAU for Spectrum Elite 15U. Local paper ran this profile in January, at which time she was averaging 25.1 ppg. For a highlight reel, see this.

Thanks. I actually linked something about Guynn but deleted it because I wasn't sure if there might have been another player 0n the Spectrum team of older players that made it to the championship game. I suspect you're correct and it was Guynn; how many players from Narrows, VA are going to be good enough for Geno to watch.

She sounds a lot like a player we had 4 years ago--the one with 3,036 career points.

I had to google Narrows to see where in VA its actually located...... and wow  its in a pretty remote area

Lauren Cox' numbers from her second game Saturday:

24 points (7-16 fg, 9-11 ft), 17 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 assists
