I'm impressed with BSU so far. They aren't intimidated at all and have been playing some smart basketball. The defense is also quite good against an athletically superior team.

I would imagine they pick it up in the 2nd half and win going away - by about 15 or so? Some of the lower seeds are also better than you might expect. Seems like parity is sneaking into WCBB...

This is not all that different from the Duke-Albany game yesterday...Tenn will win, yes, but very unimpressively against a much weaker opponent. Yet another team that won't scare anybody!

I posted on here last year how impressive nared is and that she would be a really good player. So far every time I have watched her this year, she has looked nothing like the girl in highschool. Not nearly as agressive and she was very thin but looks to have gained weight but not muscle weight. Missed a lot of point blank layups.......totally not the player I saw it's both weird and disappointing.

Tenn bigs could get blown away is a mild breeze and lots of misses. Not impressive in this first game. Should have buried Boise in first half.

I get such a kick out of the announcers...they do not have room in their collective "mindset" for #1 seeded teams to lose. "Solid performance by the Lady Vols." Yep, that's what he said! Playing on their home court against a bottom seed? "Solid" ?? Right!!

Proud of the girls for the perseverance but was rather disappointed in the play....Graves played an impressive game and I'm glad Ariel actually came to play, other than those two...everyone else were so so

Graves played more like the player she was her freshman season. Other than that the Vols were meh.
