Dude needs to get fired. He’s already had a couple of extra chances that he has blown.

The university’s action now might end up saving Huggins’ life or other drivers’ lives. If they retain him it should be contingent on completing rehab and daily testing with his contract reworked to include that with zero tolerance. But he needs a very serious wake up call.

He obviously needs help - alcoholism is a disease. Physically it has to be taking a toll - liver, heart. I don't think any of of this is new. The guy is 69 - time to step away before he kills himself or someone else.

He has a history of heart issues (IIRC there was a story a number of years back on how he had to be resuscitated in an ambulance) and I think he had a prior DUI many years ago.

He needs to slow things down a lot for his own good.

From the look of his stomach in the photo they need to find a fat farm for him too........although that's nothing new based on how he looked when I saw him at the prep tournament at Albertus Magnus several years ago.
That’s the booze. Fat, but also very inflamed and bloated.

The man is a ticking time bomb -- for both himself (more importantly) and the university.

He needs to be extracted from his position or things will not end well. And he never should be in a position of influencing student athletes.

I like Huggy but he needs to save himself first and foremost. And leaving him as coach puts lots of people in his path of harm.
