Boat is showing an excellent degree of control throughout the game, compared to previous seasons. Statistically, he isn't getting the results percentage-wize that he would like to see, but I think it will all come together for him. He busted his butt to get around screens chasing Frazier at the end of the game, likely preventing a couple of key threes. I would love to see him come back next year and put it all together.

Omar made a mature decision with the ball when he didn't force out what would have been a contested pass but had patience and gained a little space and drained a long 2-pointer from the corner. Then next play on defense he got great position and drew a charge on Prather. The next 4 plays were all negative ones but Omar is our future. To be a contender this year, we need him to put it all together. He has the tools but just needs to get some positive reinforcement from things starting to go his way on the court.

i never said i gave up on him, right now he is not a good player
Actually you did not say right now. You made a definitive statement that they are not good players. Too many people here take a snapshot of time, one game, a couple of games and in some cases one or two plays and dismiss the entire body of work of the player and their future play. It is stupid and short sighted. If you were to say Calhoun is not playing very well right now, that he needs to get his confidence back and work on his passing, and dribbling, that is one thing. To just completely dismiss them as bad players is wrong. We have seen both these players play very well and we shall again. But to dismiss them completely as bad players shows no memory or recognition of their abilities and basketball in general. Daniels was being killed earlier this year in much the same way. Bazz in past years has also been the brunt of such comments. It is really stupid to hold such animosity for players on a college team that you profess to be a fan of. Its not like they can be traded, and its not like they won't be needed at various points this year. Recognize their faults, recognize and discuss how they are playing, but also recognize that it is just a snapshot and basketball games and seasons are fluid with players success flowing and changing over a course of that season. Also what happens is with statements like that people become invested in their point of views and then start missing the good things the players are doing as it doesn't fit with their assessments. So last night Calhoun improved his defensive work, got a couple of rebounds and even an assist in 15 minutes. Not great but he is working on other aspects of his game while working through his shooting slump. Boatright had 4 assists and was 2 for 3 from three point range. Neither are great performances but neither are they evidence of bad players.

i'm sorry my opinion means that much to you.what does boat do well? i'd like you to tell me. if you cant see for yourself the problems with calhoun then i can't help you.
Calhoun had surgery on his hips, right now he's a spot up shooter, he's a sophomore, he's in a funk. Boatrights shot isn't falling hes attacking the basket he's playing aggressive d and running the offense. You come on here not giving any reason for your comment bc you just want attention and get the reactions you're getting. That's being a pest/troll. Also we're 8-0 with a lack of a front court
