Boeheim: I'm excited about the move we're making. ACC is a challenge. Better league than league Connecticut's going to be in.

Boeheim: "I'm excited about the move to the ACC and the challenge. We're in a better position than Connecticut is."

Not sure which is actual comment but you get the gist...

I hope to hell he was asked specifically about UConn and not just throwing that comment out there to rub our noses in it.

I don't hate on Boeheim. I've not known him to take jabs at UConn. Him & Calhoun seemed to be pretty good friends through out the years. Maybe I missed something along the lines though?

I applaud boeheim, you should always see how your situation compares to the elite teams as you try to get better.

He's become an insufferable over the past couple of years.

He must be cranky about something...NCAA probably threw another dart at the rule book.

Boeheim is becoming more & more like Calhoun. He's tired of the haters ranking on him. I can't rank on him. There are the Con Artists like Calamari & there are the old school guys like Calhoun & Boeheim... Oil & Vinegar!

Calhoun challenges. Boeheim whines. Not the same.

He's a jealous P*ick. That's all it comes down too. Calhoun was 10 times the coach that Nose Picker is.

the better question is "jim, how many of your wins will be vacated? you won over 900, but the record books say 750."

I've never bought into the idea that Boeheim and Calhoun are friends. How can you go to war with each other and battle for recruits etc. and be friends especially as competitive as both guys are? I know I could never do it. I think the 'friendship' was a facade or at best a professional courtesy type of relationship, not a friendship. Coaches may have friends in the game but probably ones they don't compete against.

As far as Boeheim and Syracuse goes, I don't see Syracuse becoming an ACC power and I hope they get what they deserve from the NCAA. Boeheim has run a program that covers up for cheating and criminal activity for 20+ years. It's time to pay the piper.

JB has turned into exactly what his fanbase is..... a huge pice of with zero knowledge of who "brung you there".........he's now the black sheep of a conference with only a crappy Pitt program below him! Love it....they suck!

If I coached/cheated for 40 some-odd years I'd have 900 wins too. Guy is a hack//.

They'll be another Wake Forest. A private school who can't hang in football or hoops but still thinks they're good in both.

Wake Forest produces better NBA talent than Syracuse though.

Early on Boehiem was the biggest whiner in the sport, he seemed to melo out when he married his younger wife and won the championship with Melo. In the past 5 years or so he has reverted back into the same whiny . He is absolutely nothing like Calhoun. RichZ said it best, "Calhoun challenges, Boehiem whines."
