This win allows them to continue in the elimination round. A rather boring match against a much too weak opponent, one of the worst to participate in the EuroCup, 0-6 differential of -336.

This competition is second only to the EuroLeague in the European Cup hierarchy, with 48 teams divided into 12 pools of 4. With the top two from each group, the four best 3rd-placed teams and the 4 teams that didn't make it through to the 2nd round in the EuroLeague making up the final 32-team tournament. The 4 teams from the EuroLeague become the top 4 seeds and the 4 best 3rd become the last 4, while the other teams are seeded according to their performance in the competition's preliminary schedule.

Campobasso will face Spain's Girona in a best-of-two home-and-home competition, like the other 30 teams taking part in the elimination tournament (see attachment).
