Blame Mardi Gras

Pressures leading up to big game, solid victory and lingering excitement all make you susceptible to a let down versus your next opponent.

Especially when you have Mardi Gras raging all round you, 24/7, but not for you because you've got a conference game on the road in a bandbox vs. a non-too-good Tulane (they have fun at Mardi Gras its two weeks).

Their minds were on parades and the quarter. But they managed. Hope they got to see a parade at some point. They love parades. Im sure Geno got them a nice meal. Le Sez Le Bon Temps Roulers.
