Sounds like it wasn't just the cupcake that was litRecently, Bill Walton went viral for eating a lit cupcake...
Bilas is into himself as a “TV personality” now as opposed to the measured and objective analyst he was most valued forThere is an inverse relationship between your interest in the game and your enjoyment of Walton's commentary.
BTW, if anyone was watching the Viginia - VTech game...Bilas did a pretty good imitation of Walton.
He knows nothing about basketball? All he did was win NPOY three times, and win two ships for one of the greatest college teams to ever play. And then he won two ships in the NBA. One happened to be for the '86 Celtics, one of the greatest teams to ever play. He was 6th man of the year that year...as a center. You can say you don't like his commentating but don't say he doesn't know anything about hooping.I would rather watch a dumpster fire in Peoria than listen to that borderline insane, mealy mouth, incoherent idiot spew on about stuff he knows nothing about.
Other than that he is just plain awful.
I find that boring/lame people tend to dislike/hate listening to people like Walton, Raftery, and Gus Johnson. The game is meant to be fun, these guys make it fun. Sports need more fun people not less. Baseball needs to bring back the Billy Martin's, Earl Weaver's, and Tommy Lasorda's.Walton's an absolute lunatic. The game needs more of those, not less. Let the big man dance!
Wow I don’t see how anyone could not like Gus Johnson. Bill Raftery is great but I could see people getting annoyed by him, not me. I do draw the line with Walton, however, if it’s a game I care about. He’s pure entertainment if it’s your casual watch with nothing else on.I find that boring/lame people tend to dislike/hate listening to people like Walton, Raftery, and Gus Johnson. The amount of time to kill in between pitches and plays is MUST SEE television if you ask me lol. Bill Walton will have an absolute field day.Baseball fans, get ready to hear about the Grateful Dead. Bill Walton will be calling his first MLB game
Bill is announcing a MLB baseball game on Aug.16. I'm hoping for extra innings.
