Its interesting hearing transfers reactions to Hurley's practices. They've never experienced what UConn does that keeps us on top.

It confirms that everything UConn does is Championship level, so difficult to emulate.

IMO-Jay is among the most objective media personalities about CBB. Knows the game and coaches. He has always been complementary of the UConn Program going back to the JC years. The fact that he played at Duke and has this kind of respect for UConn- Is astounding. One of the good guys in CBB

Troy now has a PhD from MIT.


The are 26 years from 1999 to 2024, inclusive. UConn men's bb won six national titles from 1999 through 2024. No word game will ever change this fact.

Worth noting - I would never have gotten into UConn based on their current standards.

It doesn't matter. Bilas probably forgot that about 2020. I don't think he was trying to slight us or didn't know we beat his favorite team in 1999. To the contrary, he was being complimentary.

Actually that's not true either because there was no Tournament in 2020.

Ditto. We have pretty much a new team. Obviously a 3 peat would be great, but that is getting way, way ahead of ourselves. I am old and maybe i should try Prevagen but a year and a half ago half this board wanted to dump Hurley.
