Depends how you look at it, for me Tom Brady is the greatest villain of all time.... But if were talking goons, artest is a guy who pops out, the Tchauck (yea i know that isnt how you spell it) guy on Florida is pretty villainous too

The 30 For 30 I Hate Christian Laettner is on right now. I’d put Laettner on the list of greatest villains in sports history. Jack Tatum from the Raiders would be on the list for me. Who else belongs?
That's coming at the question from two different angles. Laettner's there because he was just too damn good and too damn clutch. Tatum's there for trying to cripple people (and succeeding once).

I don't know if there's another Laettner in any sport. There are lots of Tatums. Back in Tatum's day and before the NFL had plenty of guys who'd bite you, shove your face in the mud, but a knee in your back while getting up off a tackle, squeeze your nutsack in a pile on, and so on. And we've already mostly forgotten about d-bags like Tyler Hansborough.

But growing up a Jets fan, I have to go with Ben Davidson. On a sack, he'd grab the back of Namath's helmet and push Namath's facemask into the ground till is disappeared. He also broke Namath's cheekbone by leading with an elbow to the face. And there's an NFL rule written specifically because Len Dawson was on the ground making no attempt to advance the ball when Davidson ran toward Dawson, then launched his 285 lbs helmet-first into the immobile QB.

Dirtiest player I've ever seen in any sport. Trash human being, too.

Last two replies were Grayson Allen. I happened to meet him in a tunnel before a Milwaukee Bucks game … very nice guy who posed with me in my UConn hoodie. Was great with everyone.

I also got to speak to some of the Bucks high level staff for a while (long story). They said he’s absolutely a great guy.

I know Allen did some questionable stuff in games, but UConn fans criticizing Allen might be a bit like other fans criticizing Hurley.

I think Lance Armstrong is the greatest villain story.

But, even as a Yankees fan, it’s hard to ignore ARod being one of the most hated figures in sports.
You win. I was an avid cyclist and huge fan of Lance when that was happening. Met him, have (had) a couple autographed jerseys. I was traveling a lot in Europe for work then and always found a bar that had Tour coverage on if I was solo for dinner. I was proud of the guy. What a dooshbag.

I ok?

There is no way to pick a winner. This is as subjective as it gets. I hated Michael Jordan because the Knicks were supposed to win championships when they got Ewing and paired him with Bill Cartwright. Wow think about that none constructing a team with twin towers who really only operated within 10ft from the basket. All Michael did is beat us every year. We even traded Cartwright for Oakley I think and they beat us with him. Plus I lived in Chicago when most of this was going on.

Or Tom Brady I am a die hard Rams fan. Always have been it is just the way it worked out. Brady broke my heart the first time in 2001 when the then 14.5 point underdog stunned the greatest show on turf. Then again almost twenty years later when he beat us in the SB for his last chip as a Patriot.

I hate Dook probably more than any one player or team. As a Yankee fan growing up around RedSox fan I kind of have a pretty high hate level for them. Fisk being #1 on the all time player list.
