The game was ugly as hell but that's what sometimes happens when you have two great defensive teams slugging it out. We should've blown it open and it got way too close for comfort, we lost our composure near the end especially Boat and Daniels still is on a milk carton. We didn't make any shots the whole game and Bazz looked like his hand was bothering him, he was constantly looking at and playing around with his fingers the whole game. With all of those things going wrong it would take stout defense to pull it out and that's exactly what we got, the best defense we played all season.

Warde Manuel should take the tape of this game and send it to the Big Ten office. They'll be sure to invite both teams after watching that game. We'd fit right in!

Wasn't trying to get on Boat's case, he busted it the whole game and played well for the most part. He had two ballhandling mistakes near the end, need to tighten up those things in end of game situations.

We just beat a final 8 capable team and it should be a shot in the arm for us even as ugly as it was.

2 big ones (mistakes almost) but he did hustle………..he dove 2 or 3 times and this was the first 2 or 3 times and they were all BIG……..hit the floor more guys it helps!!

I really thought he was hammered, a body block, on one of the turnovers. On the other, it was a mental lapse, his fault, but he dove after the ball right away.
