Is it too early to ask who is going to the BET, what sessions you will attend and where you are sitting?

I will be going to all sessions except, perhaps, the Friday afternoon session. All depends on the type of morning I have at work on Friday. I only work about 6 blocks away from the XL Center, so I may walk down at lunch, catch a few minutes then head back to work. I will be going to the evening session on Friday, barring any unforeseen conflicts.

After Friday I will be there all sessions, all games from tip-off to to final buzzer. Just because I have no life and I really enjoy watching the other teams play when I have no real rooting interest in the outcome - except to root against certain teams that wear red and white, or shamrock green.

I will be in section 101, Row R, seat 1.

I am meeting up with friends on Saturday, but due to the impending birth of a second grandchild, they may bail. You know how babies tend to interfere with life  .

Any Boneyard get togethers between games or sessions, let me know! Since I will be a loner for most sessions, would love to meet up with fellow BYers.

I am flying in from sunny and warm San Diego for the tourney. i will miss the Friday games but will be there with my dad and step mom from Saturday thru Tuesday!

I will not be there this year having had to use the time last month to take care of my folks.

I'll be in Bridgeport, but not Hartford or Kingston.

Next year, I'm hoping for Hartford AND Storrs AND Trenton AND New Orleans.

Are we going to get together for dinner like we did last year?

That is always a fun time. Last year a number of players and their families were there around. Stef and Kelly's were two. I will be sorry to miss it.

I'll be there for the semis and finals only. Probably will be unable to make earlier sessions. In section 102, row R.

that sounds like a great idea. maybe pick a night when people think it would be the best (maybe Monday between the two semi final games? not sure if that gives enough time). we could tack it at the top of the page and get a head count then make reservations a few days in advance? not sure who coordinated it last year but it worked out great!

Hey what's "Cronus" ? It sounds like one of the Titans or something.

Jan and I are up for dinner. For sure we will be at all uconn games, plus a few others. Also have tickets for Bridgeport and Kingston.

I'll be arriving to Hartford on Saturday afternoon and plan to see all the games from that point

I had hoped to get to Hartford for the BET but I have to work. I'll be working during the 1st and 2nd rounds at Bridgeport but I'm planning on being in Kingston.

I'll be there for every BET game (Fri-Tues)... not that any of you care :(

Will be there at least all day and evening on Friday and Saturday with exhibit on All American Red Heads and hopefully take in some games

AND REMEMBER THE 'YARDERS MEET OUTSIDE 119 at halftimes and before and after games. I should be there for all games except Saturday's first game since the Husky men play at noon. I'll be pointing out for all who ask the three wonder kids who run the Yard should any of them actually decide to come to a game this year. So far the score is Nan 1 game ; Biff 0 games and JS -1 game.

SEE YOU THERE, DADDYCHOC!

I'd love to know how JS toted up the impressive record of -1. Is that when you buy a ticket but don't go to the game?

Maybe you just didn't see JS. How do you know JS didn't have one of us pin a GPS unit on your shorts so he could keep moving around to keep maximum distance apart from you? I think he's afraid of running into you in the Men's Room.
.

Hey Wonkster, Why are you asking me? You should ask JS how he got to -1. I didn't make the numbers up, you know.

BTW, now that I've called you Wonkster, can I use your initials WS from now on?

Daddy, you are leaving your home? No replays and having to deal with parking, food pricing....... :)

games arent televised (atleasthe early ones, maybe that has changed) I'll record the ones I can.

parking is never a problem with me... NEVER (plus I could walk from my home if I really wanted to, 2 miles)

never eat at the XL Center and Ive been going there since the 70's (VMC).... I can hop in my car (between sessions), drive down Albany Ave for a jamaican dish, come back and park in the same spot.

bought the 99.00 All Sessions package back when they 1st went on sale (November maybe) I've been going every year that its been in Hartford.

since Im from Hartford I know all the tricks of saving cash while at a XL event. (parking, food)

and lastly, since I work the "graveyard" shift I refuse to let anything stop me from getting my proper sleep. (I will NOT be at the ND game on Monday)

now that I missed all those games I saved my personal/vacation time and can use some of it now.

PS: but I did purchase XL Season tickets for BOTH men and women teams ;)

whats your story?
