Throughout all this discussion it is interesting that never once is anything mentioned about whether the product and service that we are being forced to pay for is a better, more usable product. Instead we have become accustomed to trying to find the silver bullet to try and get away from paying for something that used to be free (or at least included in cable packages, etc). Maybe this bridge was crossed a long time ago and if so we can move on but it still is worrisome how we have come to accept "streaming" as inevitable and supposedly better. Or is it we are just going to eventually cave and end up paying for something that offers the consumer actually less utility and value but at a higher cost? OK, that's enough griping. Next.
