Butler and Georgetown are in desperate need of coaching changes.

NDSU is a quality OOC opponent for Creighton.

Their best player is super senior Rocky Krueser (pronounced cruiser) which is arguably one the coolest names in NCAA.

Between him and sophomore Grant Nelson, NDSU has two 6’10 bigs who average double digits and can stretch the floor. Their freshman backup big, Andrew Morgan, got an offer from Iowa, so NDSU isn’t messing around w their bigs.

I was really worried about this game. Turns out to be the most complete game yet.

Competition ramping up quickly with #19 Iowa St #12 BYU Arizona St and #6 Nova the next 4 games before Christmas. Hoping to get 2-2 out of those and I will ramp up my expectations.

This board is a strange place. From most of the posts on these games the posters make it sound like one team is the worst team ever and the other team is great. I then check on the score and the worst teams ever always seem to be the teams who win the games.

PC wins a good one for the BE

The game was ugly because neither team is that good at shooting, but I thought both coaches brought their A game. PC's zone was causing a lot of problems for Tech, but then Adams adjusted with a high low setup with a guy flashing to the block, but Tech just missed too many layups. Tech flashes to traps kind of randomly, so PC's guards always seemed to be caught flatfooted.

Big East is 10-9 against A teams and 3-2 against B teams on KenPom. Basically Quad 1 and 2

Villanova has 2 of the losses, both close game to top 5-10 teams. Butler, which looks like one of the two weakest teams right now, has 3 of the losses.

Is it human nature to feel a lot better about my team if one of our best players was hurt and we struggled against yet another 340+ opponent, versus say a team with a KenPom ranking of 10? NC’s = Delusional is the moral of this story. It’s a good problem to have obviously, but don’t expect to not have it pointed out.

Enjoy your super bowl win last night. It helps the league. Why is it when we need you to help the league in postseason you cant even get us single win credit.
