While Butler blew it at the end of regulation by not fouling, I thought the full court 2-2-1 at the end of OT was a really good call by Jordan. I think it took Oklahoma 4 passes to get the ball up the court, burning 8 seconds.

Cuse has been playing competitive as of late. Tonight included. But I still don't really get what Boeheim is doing with this program. He has shooters and he gets spacing because of it. But his squad is consistently not as athletic as the opponent. What he's doing isn't necessarily all negative. I just can't tell if this style is by design or because his recruiting has fallen apart.

Their style might be because they are only going 6 or 7 deep. Other factor might be athletes don't want to play zone D.

Slow and what I've seen they just don't seem to have their heart set on the defensive end. People just stand around staring, waiting for someone else to move. Very disappointing

I think they are just slow. Look at how many tough finishes and floaters they had tonight. Their guards can't get by anyone. They have to play way off on help defense because their on-ball defenders keep getting beat off the dribble. Oklahoma missed a lot of wide open shots tonight.

The two positives on Butler is that I think they are a decent shooting team given how much trouble they have getting open, and they are a solid rebounding team against the better opponents they have played.

Nova takes control in 2nd half to win comfortably. Very nice day for Big East.

Likely 2 Q1, a Q3, and a Q4 win tonight for BE. No losses.

great night for the league. nights like these will matter a lot come March. The league needs to finish OOC strong

Even more exciting to see the ACC average 2.53 losses per team already

He's been doing the short bench thing for a while. I have to assume it's by design at this point.

At the end of the broadcast Van Pelt asked Bilas who are the deepest conferences and he said Big 12 and SEC even after our second worst team beat 7-1 OU. Ridiculous.! At least they said ACC sucks (my word not theres)

The Big 12 has mastered the art of scheduling mediocre but not terrible teams, so the league gets to March with a bunch of teams in the top 40 in computer rankings despite not having many marquee wins, and being overall average at best among the majors. I think this year will be different, but the good news is that the Big East gets to prove it on the court.

Let’s go huskies. Big win tonight for not only us but the conference.

BE now the #2 NET conference.
Butler jumped 78 spots!

That was a huge W for the conference to keep Butler from being a Q4 game without hurting another BE team. If Georgetown can just beat one of TCU or Syracuse... things will look much better and the worst traps will be removed from the conference.

tim welsh calling the uconn game has to be good mojo. sny legend.

I think there's the top 4 conferences (Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, and SEC), then a decent gap before the ACC and Pac 12.
