Oof, St Johns gives up an offensive rebound then an and1 to go down 4 with 1 minute left

By "St Johns", I mean Kadary Richmond, because he just stood there and watched UGA grab the rebound, then hacked him on the arm
Jonnie’s give me same feeling as jets. Get the hopes of fans up, but then just become a circus act doing knucklehead stuff. Get the same types of fans, between Frank the Tank and the leprechaun to the fire fighter. Always drama, Pitino going out to UK this year to hang out with his former school, which was absurd. Now Pitino calling refs unethical, blah blah. I’m over them. They and their goofy fan base can watch Pitino miss the tourney again wearing his vanilla ice cream suit. It is just starting to feel like a second old act for RP.

Kadari is overated. I don’t think he fits pitinos style and has a god awful looking shot.

It’s starting to feel like us and Marquette this year, maybe Xavier if Miller can get that team to gel. This was Marquette last year too though / runner up in Maui and beat Illinois on road and then farted out in March.

Wilcher has been a disappointment. St. John's needs to win this one for the BE.
Still have Nova @ Maryland and FAU vs Seton Hall at 5:30.

2-19 from 3? SJ still a tough team to play for us, don’t be misled by close losses.

RJ Luis turns it over with 5 seconds left, St Johns goes down

2 turnovers in the last 3 possessions, 2-19 from three, 5 assists to 14 turnovers

RJ Luis and Ejiofor is a good duo to build around, and they have decent supporting pieces in Aaron Scott and Deivon Smith (despite the bad games today). They don't have too much frontcourt depth and that might limit their ceiling

Kadary is a culture killer. He decides when he wants to play and when he doesn't, and he decides he doesn't way too often

Nova's best half of the season, mostly thanks to Eric Dixon. Up 40-28

40 points, 50% FG, 6-15 (40%) 3P, 7 steals

Dixon has 22 points on 8-14. This would be a huge W..

Eric Dixon might have to score 40+, I don't trust Nova to hang onto this one at all

So Big East may be a replica of last year. UConn and Marquette are legit, Creighton may or may not be, and the rest of the conference would struggle to win a mid-off.

Let’s hope it repeats 23-24 in every way, then. Even the inevitable loss at Hall lol, if it results in getting us where we hope to be

Dixon picks up his 4th foul chasing down a rebound because Brickus didn't give him the ball, Dixon gotta be taking all of the shots and he understands that. If he fouls out Nova is cooked

Eric Dixon misses an open three. Offensive rebound. Eric Dixon misses another three. Offensive rebound. Perkins misses a layup. Offensive rebound. Brickus misses a three. Dixon runs over Jakobi Gillespie for his 4th foul

That's the Nova I've come to love the last few years

Airball jumper and nobody on Nova pursues the basketball, blockout is cool but eventually someone has to go get the ball

Dixon should have been taking 95% of Nova's shots until he tapped out from exhaustion

Very smart from Kevin Willard. Literally TRIPLE TEAMED Dixon as soon as he touched the ball. Perkins got an open three but no luck, then Dixon had to take a heavily contested corner 3. Maryland completes the comeback, that was a REALLY fun game

Respect the loyalty from Eric Dixon, but have to wonder if it would have been better for him to transfer and go somewhere that could win. Second 30+ point game this year that ended in a loss. Third year he is playing out of his mind, just to try to stay at .500

Very smart but also very stupid not to anticipate that - must have been at least two guys open.
