Adams vs Abraham right now and Gtown throttling early. Abraham very active, stripped Adams. 11-0
 
Been watching Georgetown play Maryland and both Isiah Abraham and Darius Adams started for their respectives.
 
Rock fight so far one three pointer made both teams combined.
 
Dude from Maryland had his shoe in his hand and threw it at the G town player driving to the hole. What the hell is that?
 
At the half, Georgetown 32-27. Teams a combined 2 for 21 from three:
Maryland 2-13
Georgetown: 0-8 (a miss at the buzzer was waived off)

Lewis almost has an eye taken out on a hand off at half court, by his own teammate.
 
Good to see Georgetown handling Maryland like this so far. They’ve been up for pretty much the whole game.
 
DePaul doing DePaul things against Stonehill. Down now after leading 30-5(!!!!!) at the start. Would put a damper on what’s otherwise been a great Big East (and UConn) night.

He plays well but once he comes out the game he hardly goes back in. Don’t know what’s up with the rotation there.

Watching the game I actually came away pretty bullish on Adams. He’s not ready to be a consistent contributor at this level (hence the pt issue for him at UConn), but you can see the incredible offensive skill hidden behind a ton of freshman mistakes and lack of strength. He looks to me like he’s got a real shot to be an NBA player after two or three years in college.

I'm totally here for the Georgetown Renaissance. My disdain for Cooley is far less than my disdain for Providence, the Big East is so much more fun when more teams are better, and overall, always fun when a former basketball powerhouse -- at a university that is a basketball school -- is playing well.

Focusing out more, in general, I tend to root for "basketball schools and basketball conferences."

Georgetown is tough. I really like Malik Mack as a crafty bucket-getter and he's surrounded by a big lineup that features guards no smaller than 6'4+ 200+.

For me, their X-factor is KJ Lewis. 6'4 210 power two-way guard whose poor shooting made him a bad fit as the 3-guard at Arizona. Now at Georgetown, he can overpower as their combo guard, defending the opponents' best guards, and having the size/motor/athleticism to overpower, draw fouls and attack inside on the offensive end.

Yeah KJ is definitely a great fit there opening things up for Malik. He’s their best off the dribble player and it allows Malik to play off ball some to get open and pick his spots when he has them.

Cooley took a break from the HS freshman last year because his roster is so young (3 sophomore starters and 2 more who get pt off the bench).

But if he makes the tourney this year Georgetown can be a major recruiting threat next class.

They have a great two headed monster with Julius and Vince too at center.
 
Zuby and Hopkins are absolute studs…the rest of this stj roster I’m not convinced are winning pieces
 
Bama guards are crushing St. John's guards and St. John's frontcourt is crushing Bama's frontcourt.

St Johns looks like a team with no guards, as expected.

Man we should really win the Big East this year. Can't lose it to this makeshift St Johns squad.
 
Hopkins and Zuby arent getting anyone else involved. St Johns is gonna be gassed in the second half.
 
Bama doing a great job boxing out and keeping SJU off the offensive rebounds.
