Georgetown knocking off Maryland is a nice win for Big East, will help them if they’re on the bubble end of year.
I agree. Wish St John's could've taken down Bama today, league would be off to a great start. Had a feeling St John's would lose, they've gotten off to a slow start every year under Pitino.

Just sucks because they were home and this will undoubtedly be used as a data point against the Big East when comparing the two leagues come March. Not sure how many more games the Big East has against the SEC this year but hope it's a good amount and Big East teams win the majority of them.

Bama deep 3s and aggressive drives would be a tough matchup for us. I think we match up better against Florida.

Guess SJU’s D isn’t as good this year

.-.
I remember Avdalas going viral some while ago for how much Luka he had in his game, freshmen class this year is something else. I didn't know Va Tech was willing to spend that much on a bball recruit

We will certainly have our opportunities at the very least

I remember watching Luka comparison video on him too. I don't think he's a sleeper, he's probably a lottery pick.

that tweet is from February 2024, the sleeper talk is from back then. Apparently he wasn't able to get the guarantee he was looking for in regards to the 2025 draft projection so that is why he elected to do college.

Gotcha, I should've seen the date.

This class is nasty but I still can't see this kid slipping past late lottery/mid first round.

How in the world did he land at VA Tech of all places?

My guess

Seton Hall put together a better roster this season? They've only played low-midmajors but they seem to be performing better against them than they did last season.
Better than Xavier but their roster is pretty damn bad. It will probably only last a season but it's sad to see a really good program like Xavier have such an awful roster and it's surprising Richard Pitino couldn't have put something together that's better than this. They're DePaul bad before DePaul got Holtmann.

more kids need to start healthy redshirting, surprising that someone as highly ranked as Greer is tho. I haven't paid attention to Creighton this year but it seems like he's kept a short rotation in year's past, riding his starters heavy minutes.
