You missed the point. They don’t care. Harvard’s alumni base has deep pockets, too. Both use their access to money for things other than building basketball programs. DWFHoya and I are saying the same thing.
Ahh. This is a thread about a couple of message board posters speaking for an entire fanbase's thinking. Ok. Georgetown alumni's alleged lack of investment in the program is one of those things that is true until it isn't. In a world with rapidly increasing payroll costs for players, I would rather have rich fans than poor fans, but maybe that is just me.
It is worth noting that Cooley has a big contract and the current roster was not that cheap. Cooley is just a mediocre coach that seems to be getting worse as he gets older.
