BIG 12 25-26

Maybe it's a glitch. I've made some posts on this thread and never had to go to the UConn side until today. This is the first time I've noticed it over on this side.

Yeah, it's always been in the general WBB forum.

And at the bottom since there are no Big 12 fans here other than myself and a couple of guys talking state of AZ schools. 😕

Hey now, I have a mild interest in the Big 12. Several former Pac 12 schools, TCU has been an interesting story recently, I'm curious to see what happens with BYU. I've kinda gotten into Oklahoma St. in recent years.

Pretty inauspicious start for Arizona. Lost in exhibition at home to Div II West Texas A&M University tonight 60-57.
The new mid major coach way find the move to Big 12....traumatic. I wondered about the hire of Burke.

The kitties missed a couple of threes down the stretch that might have tied it. Woulda could have sugar

"Faced with a complete rebuild, Burke hit the transfer portal hard and between transfer players and new commitments Burke built her team."

"As happens when you build a program, the first game of the season, even when it is an exhibition game, looks and feels a little chaotic."

This loss at McKale may not mean much or it may indicate a long long season for the kitties. They play another exhibition Thursday at McKale against Cal State LA.

Tempe is back

YES!

I am so excited for the upcoming season and I'm pointing toward the November 3rd opener with anticipation. Tempe will be rocking!!!!

The Molly Miller era has begun. This is 180° from the valley of despair over the past 3 years.

ASU at the precipice I think of Nationwide notoriety. After building to a 31 crescendo at Grand Canyon Miller brings a passion, an excellence in coaching, and High character to Tempe.

I do believe that the Sun Devils are a tad underrated I believe the preseason has them 11th in the poll. Certainly the prospects in Tempe are glowing and much brighter than in the dirty t.

Moreover that same preseason poll has the colts and fashionista ranked above Molly Miller's Sun Devils. hummmmmmmm

There’s only so much (and it’s not a lot) to take from scrimmages, but Molly Miller seems to have a magic touch.

USC has one of the best backcourts in the nation even without Juju and Gottlieb should still be held to putting a pretty competitive team on the court.
She showed it with 32 wins last year at GCU.

We are very fortunate to have her in Tempe

Really happy for Okot. She was very raw when joined Capital Courts in high school. Her growth has been impressive.

Okie St. has already played 5 games. I wonder why their schedule is so front loaded. Most teams have played twice, maybe 3 times at this point.

Valparaiso put up a fight for a quarter and then it was like the rest of the cupcake games ISU has played so far. Looking forward to December when we play Iowa for a sole NC game that will be a good contest.

The Big 12 will be interesting this year, lots of good teams who will make the NCAAT but no great teams to warrant top 10 consideration. To me, only Miles and Audi deserve or warrant any "National media" watching. There are plenty of good players withing the conference but none of true elite status.

TCU, Baylor, OSU will make the NCAAT and then my guess is 3 other schools but which 3 will be the question on the season. I am curious if the Big 12 is better than the ACC. Thoughts?

Speaking of Crooks, the coach from that D3 program ISU faces during an exhibition has an interesting take on Crooks' 40+ game. 😉

Some decent Big 12 games this week to give me a break from the cupcake games my own team has played so far.

Really interested in this one. I kinda expect Minnesota to win by a solid margin. They will end up being favored by 5-10 I'm thinking...

Woof. #18 OSU Cowgirls looked not so good. Lost in front of the "big" crowd at St. Johns of a few hundred fans. They don't look anything like a team that should be ranked.

Kansas without their star freshman recruit looked "okay". Gophers looked way less than that. Looks like another bubble team year for the Gophers. That's a shame in a state that churns out so many good players. And I can save a few bucks and not sign up for BTN+ to watch them.
