WVU made approx $9M with 3rd tier rights, not too shabby

Kinda. I don't think that deal kicked in yet.

West Virginia signed a deal early this year with IMG that was to pay about $9M a year for their multimedia rights - however, there was the "appearance of impropriety" in the negotiations of that contract that has led the West Virginia attorney general to advise WV to rebid that contract.

It should be noted that UConn has made $8M a year since '08 for their multimedia rights. (Definitely towards the high end for such rights and yet here we are.)

I'm not keeping up. Is that chunk of change lost to UConn in the new AAC deal?

I hear we are cutting back on cheerleaders; our lack of future revenue from TV is a serious problem.
