I came across this Youtube Channel just now.

Seems to have all of our first 7 Championship games on it!

Correction: Has 2010, 2009, 2004, 2003, 2002, and 2000 full championship games, has the 1995 Highlight Video. Not bad!

This is GREAT. Looking back at '95 and UConn with everybody in foul trouble and grits it out to win. If it weren't for foul trouble it might have been over early.

I watched 1995, 2003 and 2004. I was surprised at how often the ball was walked or jogged up the floor. Granted no 10 second rule. Seems like the past few years UConn busts up the floor like a jailbreak on just about every trip.

In all three of those games UConn was playing against a more athletic team. Geno hasn't had a team at an athletic disadvantage very often in recent years. The strategy is different when the opponent is Stanford instead of Tennessee.

Gotta play to your talent. I do not believe Coach Auriemma became comfortable with the uptempo game until Svetlana Abrosimova pretty much forced his hand. The fastest player on the 2003 & 2004 teams was Wilnett Corckett; Ashley Battle might have been faster.

BTW, I like The Young Turks.
