UConn vs Pitt when Thabeet got flipped by Blair. That game was intense. Been to a couple UConn-Cuse games too.

2007 vs. Louisville was a good one. 2006 Villanova was great as well.

UConn vs. Arizona - Gampel 2000 71-69 back of basket that had controversial goal tending call.
UConn vs. Pitt BE tournament game 2002 at MSG in which TB hit 35-40 footer to win in double overtime at MSG. Behind the basket when he made that shot. Jumped so high landed two rows in front of where I started. My kid didn't want to know me!
UConn vs. Kansas Jan 1997 at Hartford Civic Center nose bleed seats second to last row section 214. KK and RM suspended and UConn loses but crowd was the most intense rooting crowd I've been among.

2011 BET. Went on a last minute deal. New Haven was a sea of Royal Blue. MSG was LOUD! The introductions alone had to make the team feel it was a home game. Notice. Haven't gotten to the game itself. We all know how it ended! Pure magic!

1990 G'Town game in the Civic Center. Horrible weather, the place was packed anyway. The crowd just went off.

I was at that one, too! Still probably my favorite UConn game - it was our official coming out party.

It's up there with the '96 Big East title game and the '99 national championship for the best I've been to.

2010 vs Texas was the loudest crowd I've ever heard at a UConn game

2004 against Oklahoma when we blew them out of the water on national TV.

When Taliek made that SICK one handed.no looked to OK4 in the second half, was the loudest moment I have ever.experienced at a sporting event. Felt like the Gampel roof was going to burst...

Never felt more satisfied leaving a game than after womping Cuse last year. I was in the Cuse section and the jokers around me kept getting quieter and quieter throughout the second half as me and the UConn fans scattered around got louder and louder. The alley oops to Neils and Boat in the closing minutes were unreal and perfect exclamation points.

Omar's tying 3 with 2 seconds left vs GTown last year was likely the loudest I've ever heard Gampel.

I have a lot of favorites, but because of the drama in the stands, the 2004 BE final against Pitt is the one I treasured the most. When UConn has down by a lot in the second half, the taunting from Pitt fans was WAY over the top. And it was met with smug confidence and assurance from the UConn fans. Smug is smug but sometimes there's a reason for it.

There were a couple of really good Gampel games in the late 90s: Stanford and Michigan State...blew the doors off of them both. I mean really gave them a stomping that must have been felt for a while...If I recall correctly, Stanford had major trouble getting the ball across midcourt against our defense, which was ferocious.

1989 NIT game vs. California at the Civic Center.

UConn was down 10 with under 3 mins to play. Calhoun calls time, and UConn comes out pressing fullcourt. To make a long story short, the Huskies make a spectacular comeback capped by Tate George making two free throws with 1 second left, UConn wins by one.

It was my first live Husky game.

Living in LA, I've not been to many games (still kicking myself for not buying tickets for the 2011 regional...) But the best by far was the Maui Invitational in 2005 when Denham won it at the buzzer. 2nd best was a inconspicuous regular season game vs Maine (I think) at the Civic Center (or whatever it's called) when Stanley went of for 30 something. I took my Dad and my brother so it was kinda special.

1999, Tropicana Dome v. Duke.

Close second would be 2004 v. Duke.

Those two games only win because they got UConn national titles. In terms of atmosphere and fun, I don't see how you beat the BET. 2003 watching Taliek in person nail a 35 footer in double OT was amazing. Watching BG hit a floater in the lane against Pitt in 2004 after coming back from 8 down with 2:30 to go was also amazing.

Makes me sad even talking about the BET these days.

2009 game vs ND in South Bend. College Game Day was there and we snapped a huge home winning streak. It was also my 1st UCONN game live.

1998 @ Pitt. Down 4 with 9 seconds to play, Mouring hits a 3 and El-Amin seals it with 2 seconds left. I was sitting right under the basket the Huskies were attacking in the second half. Best comeback I can remember!
The old field house was tiny; no bigger than a high school gym. Amazing place to see a game.
I heard all the stories about the fans taunting Khalid and throwing things, but I didn't see it. Got fives from all the players as they came off the floor. Awesome.

UConn-Washington 2006 NCAAT or the Texas game at Gampel. That Texas crowd was something else. 2006 win @ Pitt was great. The student section for the 2004 game vs Oklahoma was pretty wild, even if the game was a controlled demolition of Kelvin Sampson.

Pitt 2005/Syracuse 2011 (GP), GfnM 2006 top the list for incredible games with crap endings.
