Pavilion belongs to Gampel... court belongs to Calhoun.... blaze can go back to making pizzas
 
Sell the name of the court and have it be at “Gampel Pavillion”. We need the cash.
How would they be able to fundraise buildings in the future? Who would want to fork over big money just to see it get sold to the highest bidder 30 years down the road.

In the big picture it wouldn’t be worth it for a small amount of cash.

What are you talking about? The building name stays the same. The court hasn’t been named.

Many schools name it after a coach. Calhoun Court at Gampel Pavillion would be fine, but the Geno fans would freak out.

My bad. I completely read your post wrong. Thought you said sell the arena name rights and call it Gampel court.
 
If I had the money I'd donate to have toilets named after opponents players.

The Christian Laettner clap trap, etc.

What does a 100% natural meatball mean?

According to the Boston press, Pepe's is also opening a new location in Watertown MA.


This would give Pepe's 3 locations in metro Boston now with the Chestnut Hill location that has been in place for a while and the pending Burlington Mall location north of the city.

O.T. - off the sub-discussions re: Bacon as a topping. 1993-94-ish there was a slice joint on 82nd or 83rd, just west of 1st Avenue, they had a bacon slice that was a regular slice (from a pie cooked for slices, a bit larger and slightly undercooked compared with a regular pie), completely showered/covered with well-done bacon bits, after cooking, before re-heating. Sublime. 9.5/10. I moved back to CT in 1995, and shortly thereafter the place was gone. Behold on EaterNY this week, Sistema lists his "NYC’s Top 5 Bacon Dishes,"which of course, includes the bacon appetizer at Luger's (well-done, to go with my rare Porterhouse). But #1 is this slice at a joint in Brooklyn, Kings Pizza, in Midwood (home of overrated DiFara). I may just have to head out that way to sample, haven’t been in that neighborhood since my Grandmother passed in 1999.

What's the best buffalo chicken pizza in or around West Hartford? Obviously some great spots for pizza in the area, but what about buff chicken style? Haven't been blown away yet.

I'm not a fan of Buffalo chicken pizza but friends and family have gotten it at Harry's Bishops Corner and really liked it.
 
So I was in Boston for work, had no lunch and had to run to catch the train home (on which I am riding as I type) from South Station. With five minutes before departure I saw Pizzeria Regina in the food court there and figured I’d give it a shot, so I got two cheese slices. It hit the spot because I was famished, but it reminded me more of the thin crust DiGiorno frozen pizza my kids love than anything else. Is this representative of the best of Boston pizza?
