Have to give Cincinnati credit. They pretty much shut down Bazz and our 3 pt shooting. Good job by Cronin. We took advantage of driving the lane but in the end they just outplayed us and deserved the win.

Not bad but Bazz didn't make the shots he normally makes either…….he forced some too……seemed like a Bazz ve Sean thing for a while and I was disappointed in Bazz for that…...

Missed Daniels tonight. They would have to change the way they play Napier with him in there.

In the 2nd half I would have liked to see us drive and kick more. If Boatright wanted to he could easily get into the paint and then kick it out to Giffey or Bazz for an open look. Instead we use too many ballscreens which teams have figured out to stop. Most of Bazz's 3 pt attempts were from NBA range and beyond

It would be nice to play Cinvi with a full roster (or at least all starters) for once.

Funny you mention that we always seem to be missing key pieces when we play them huh?

Cincy is missing three scholarship players. I don't think Daniels would have made a difference. I didn't like the way the game was called either, but I don't like hearing Bazz blame the officiating. He got beat by a better, more determined, more mature player; and we got beat by a better, hungrier team. No excuses.

Yep agree on Bazz, disappointing. They let them play both ways I thought and were fair. No problem here…..thought our guys manned up pretty well against a physical team.

Deandre at full strength would help against this team, if he's rebounding and backing in……they are tough but his length would be good against them and plus Jackson may have to handle him therefore taking their best defender off of someone else who he may have been guarding………also takes him away from the basket because DD can shoot it from deep!

when things go awry , napier seems to do a lot of airing out to the media. That'll need to change at the next level or he'll find himself not having friends in the locker room.

It's been 2 years since Napier aired out his teammates. I think he has grown a ton since then.

You think his teammates will have a problem with him criticizing refs??? He will fit right in.

He had 1 bad game. He has carried the team all year, I think we need to cut him some slack.

Which three? And how important? Starters? That's like saying Tolksdorf, Samuel and Facey are going to be out (slight exaggeration).

Daniels is a question mark. He's still played extremely well the past 17 games and provides some offensive rebounding. Plus he is a legit third option. Giffey and Kromah played well but couldn't do anything when Cinci turned it up. Not saying Daniels would have, but he has more potential to go off than anyone outside of Napier. He is also, sadly, UConns best post up player.

I didn't mind the reffing if you take each half separately, but it was horribly inconsistent from one half to the next. I don't think it hurt either team immensely.

Should also mention, not sure how much Boat was affected by his first half elbow to the face. He did some unusually (for this year) stupid things after that.
