Listening to Dire Straits ‘Alchemy’ tonight. Tough to beat. What’s your favorite?
I opened this thread with that as my first thought. It's neck and neck as my favorite with Babylon by Bus, but there's way more Wailers live bootlegs out there than Dire Straits

That's actually a Peter Tosh song. Him & Bunny left the band way before Babylon by Bus. But the record is the Mighty Bob at his finest

I have always been obsessed by Before the Flood (Dylan and The Band). Kind of cheating since it’s two of my favorites.

I think it was released a year or two before I was born.

Lots of great choices already. Love Alchemy.

I honestly think that the Layla Revisited album from the Tedeschi Trucks Band with Trey Anastasio (don’t @ me @nomar ) is one of the best sets of recorded live music I’ve ever heard. If you haven’t listened, do. It’s stunning.

Other greats not mentioned yet:

J. Geils Band, Full House

The Kinks, One for the Road

Grateful Dead, Reckoning

Joni Mitchell, Miles of Aisles
