Because I'm a newbie and don't know how to post in the off topic forum AND because it is kind of the off season for college hoops I thought I'd post this here. The website Pure Wow just rated Buttonwood Farms of Griswold as the states best ice cream. Thoughts?
 
Someone will nail you for not putting a OT in a thread even though it is obviously OT in 3, 2, 1

Well, if the website "Pure Wow" rates it the best, who are we mere mortals to argue.

Not just in Connecticut, but anywhere else on the planet as well. Some scientist tested it and indicated the butter fat content was off the charts in relation to any other ice cream he had ever tested.

Butter fat = flavor!

dont sweat it. we turned it into a wiener schnitzel thread for you. Now what is your go to Schnitzel?

I'm in the Chicago area but if KO ever schedules a home and home DePaul and Dave Leitao I would suggest the Bohemian House located downtown. Excellent pork schnitzel and don't even get me going on the goulash. Obvious by the name but the food is Czech, Hungarian and Austrian and German.

well considering that my mother is a Chicago born and raised Czech (and I will be in Chicago in mid May) I appreciate that recommendation in all seriousness.
