Tonic is not only awful tasting, it is awful for you. Vodka is a HoFer on it's own, but pairing it with tonic is a waste of vodka's talents.

Well for one thing, you did not originally specify "Diet", but for what it's worth, Diet tonic water contains saccharin...and still tastes awful.

Regular tonic contains 32g Sugar and 124 calories per 12 oz. serving.

Given how bad tonic water tastes, it is the definition of empty calories.
