Other than the Huskies, I always root for the service academies.

Don't kill me...but Notre Dame. Grew up in a very Irish family and have very found memories of watching them with my dad on NBC every Saturday afternoon.

I grew up with dad watching the Fighting Irish on replay every Sunday with Lindsey Nelson doing the telecast..........60's-70's. But when I drove out with friends to South Bend for the UConn-ND game I was a Husky fan no doubt in my National Flag Blue.

What can I say? Went to the Bowl alot growing up. Was the local big time program at least to me. Always Yale over Harvard(On the Thames River too.), Navy over Army, OSU over Michigan, UCLA over USC, Nebraska over Oklahoma, Auburn over Bama, Arkansas over Texas.

I drove out to SB in 2001 as ND fan (& UConn season ticket holder) for the Michigan State game. In 2009 I drove out as a UConn fan.
