Benedict and Mora

You’re looking in the wrong places…
I've seen lots of reports about other schools being interested in him. I have not seen one report of there being mutual interest.

I'm not saying he isn't interested, he may be. But he's not wrong to say there hasn't been an inkling about him being interested in leaving

The comment was “the JM name has been missing from the carousel completely”.

Sorry, the first part of the comment mentioned him not hearing anything about JM being interested. Misread the second part and thought he meant mentions of JM being interested were completely missing from the carousel

I’m not sure why people are worried about Sammis leaving. I’ve not been blown away and without Edwards, Joe and Bell next year, we will see how good of an OC he actually is. It’s similar to how exposed Brock was this year due to the amount of talent that left and that that was why our D was so good last year, not because of him.

I agree but if I was Chesney I would pass on the Stanford job. He will land a better opportunity
I think Penn State is losing interest in Chesney. He'd be my pick though. He's won everywhere he's been.

I am sure our UConn media will ask JM or DB about this…/s
They asked Benedict about it on Dibble the other day. His response was basically Coach is totally focused on FAU. In other words, no comment.

I get the impression that Mora really likes coaching college guys, though. Over the summer I heard him on some show or other and he was talking about writing a letter of recommendation for a kid who played for him at UCLA applying to med school. And how he tells his player to list him as a reference for jobs. I thought that fits with the way he posts good stuff about guys leaving through the portal.

No need for him to leave James Madison this year. He can wait until right opportunity arises.
If it is offered he takes it. The bottom could fall out at JMU at any time, maybe injuries, maybe another team gets hot. Suddenly he’s just another G5 coach.

I sort of know what you mean. But I can’t imagine him turning down Stanford or UCLA.

Looking at his timeline that doesn’t appear to be the case.

He's been wrong on basically everything for the basketball team. His connection are in the Ivy League. I'd take his info with a handful of salt when it comes to UConn.

You think he would go back to UCLA? I don’t see it.

If Mora was going to any other school, we would've heard inklings from the media that he was interested. It has been radio silent, the JM name has been missing from the carousel completely

I don't have the time to grade each tweet or article for quality of info......but there literally a dozen links in these threads with people mentioning Mora's name.
