A Euro-step done properly is not a travel. Look at a good one in slow motion and it is obvious that it is legal.
So very true, so very true... however just like the hand over the ball dribble evolved to dribbling the ball on the side and finally to dribbling with the ball under the hand--what we once called carrying--is mostly allowed now. Look at some of the Euro steps in the NBA--that used to be traveling but given the entertainment value necessity, they have lessened the rules that govern driving to the basket.... The Euro step is rarely done properly nowadays... And good ones are traveling....
